David A. Mitchell

David Mitchell is an associate attorney that focuses his practice in Commercial Litigation, Construction, Real Estate, and Government Affairs. David received his Bachelor’s degree in political science from Florida Atlantic University and his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.

During law school, David gained invaluable legal experience interning with a personal injury and criminal defense law firm. He was also an In-House Counsel Intern with Bloomin’ Brands. During his time at Stetson, David volunteered as a certified tax preparer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, to provide free tax preparation services to low-to moderate-income taxpayers. He also volunteered as a mentor with Stetson’s School-to-School Mentoring Project at Boca Ciega High School in St. Petersburg, Florida. Prior to joining the firm, David defended some of the nation’s largest employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation cases.
