Farheen Jahangir

Ms. Jahangir began her career focusing on Mortgage Foreclosure Litigation, assisting banks and lenders with regulatory, transactional and litigation matters. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience in consumer finance, creditors’ rights, insurance defense and securities litigation through her previous roles as a trial lawyer and Associate General Counsel for one of the largest insurance companies in the State of Florida. She has served as lead trial counsel and second chair in a number of demanding, complex cases. Ms. Jahangir has taken hundreds of cases to non-jury trial and has not lost a single trial.

Alongside the work she performs for her clients, Ms. Jahangir has been a member of the South Asian Bar Association of Florida since 2012 and Past President 2020-2021. In 2020, Farheen was selected as a Super Lawyers ® 2020 Florida Rising Stars Honoree. Farheen earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from State University of New York at Purchase College and her Juris Doctorate from Florida A& M University College of Law. During law school she received the Best Overall Oral Advocate Award at the 8th Annual National Animal Law Moot Court Competition at Harvard Law.

Ms. Jahangir has also worked as a law clerk for the Office of the Chief Counsel to National Aeronautics and Space Administration at the John F. Kennedy Space Center. During law school, she interned for the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation with the Division of Real Estate, where prosecuted Real Estate license and Appraiser license violations as a Qualified Representative before the Florida Real Estate Commission and Florida Real Estate Appraisal Board.

Notably, Ms. Jahangir has represented clients in administrative agency, state and federal court proceedings, handled consumer and commercial matters as private attorney working at prestigious firms, and as in-house counsel for a corporation.
